Coba Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Northamptonshire that is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Business & Economics Teacher for a long-term position.

The Role

• Teaching Business Studies and Economics across KS4 and KS5
• Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
• Monitoring, assessing and supporting student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community
• Supporting students to achieve their academic potential

What We''re Looking For

Essential:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for supporting student achievement
• Two recent professional references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• Experience teaching A-Level Business and Economics
• Recent UK secondary school teaching experience
• Ability to inspire and engage learners of varying abilities
