Hales Group are delighted to be recruiting for a Business Unit Administrator on behalf of a well-established international business based in Lowestoft. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join a friendly and professional team in a varied part-time role, providing essential administrative support and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
About the Role
This is a varied administrative position where you''ll support managers and employees across a range of business activities. Duties will include office administration, managing company equipment, assisting with onboarding, coordinating logistics and responding to employee requests. You''ll also have the opportunity to support projects, events and other business activities as needed. This role would suit someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming post, invoices, legal correspondence, vehicle fines and other business documentation.
- Maintain records and coordinate company assets including mobile phones, laptops and other equipment.
- Support asset audits, equipment allocation, ordering and tracking processes.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Country Manager.
- Assist with onboarding activities for new employees.
- Coordinate company credit card requests and administration.
- Support employees with office-related requests and equipment requirements.
- Arrange and coordinate shipments of company equipment including laptops and mobile devices.
- Liaise with local organisations, educational establishments and industry groups as required.
- Assist with travel arrangements, visitor bookings and office logistics.
- Support employee engagement activities and business unit events.
- Assist with local Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Provide support for local projects and ad hoc business activities.
What We''re Looking For
- Previous experience within administration, office support or business support roles.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
- Proactive, flexible and willing to support a variety of tasks.
- Professional approach when handling confidential information.
- Strong team player with a positive and helpful attitude.
