JOB TITLE: Business Administrator

LOCATION: Bridgwater, Somerset

SALARY: -27,000 PA

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

We are seeking a well-organised and driven Business Administrator who thrives in a fast pace and varied role, to join a dynamic and highly established industry leading business based in Bridgwater. This role supports daily operations across sales, logistics, compliance, and administration. You will ensure smooth internal processes and professional customer service, handling confidential and commercially sensitive information. This is an exciting brand-new role created due to rapid growth which can offer progression for the right candidate.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support across sales, logistics, office operations, and compliance
  • Assist the sales team with tender submissions, quotations, and customer documentation
  • Maintain insurance, accreditation, and compliance records
  • Manage technician stock, warehouse pick lists, and courier despatches
  • Coordinate bookings for hotels, catering, meeting rooms, and events
  • Process expenses claims, penalty notices, and parking fines
  • Update training records and company matrix; complete customer/supplier forms
  • Organise training courses and ensure technician compliance

KEY SKILLS:

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online portals
  • Adaptable and driven, with a proactive approach to learning
  • Experience in fast-paced, regulated environments
  • Ability to understand technical information and work to tight deadlines
