The Role
As Business Administrator, you''ll be one of the first points of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring everything behind the scenes runs efficiently. No two days are the same, with responsibilities ranging from customer service and office administration to supporting client onboarding and finance processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and general correspondence
- Coordinating diaries, meetings and appointments
- Maintaining accurate digital filing systems and supporting the move towards a paperless office
- Preparing documents, reports and presentations
- Ordering and managing office supplies
- Greeting visitors and providing a professional, friendly first impression
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients and handling client administration
- Preparing and issuing invoices
- Carrying out credit checks, processing card payments and assisting with credit control
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required
About You
We''re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working with people. You''ll be confident managing multiple tasks, have a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable using a range of computer systems.
Ideally, you''ll have:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and other computer systems
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
