Location: Bridgend Town Centre

Hours: 31 per week (3-week rota, 7 days)

Salary: -25,989 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Bus Station Operations Assistant at Bridgend Bus Station. This is a varied, community-focused role where you''ll help keep public transport running smoothly and safely.

The Role

• Provide passenger information and travel updates (boards & tannoy).
• Support customers, including at the Shopmobility Unit.
• Monitor bus arrivals/departures and liaise with operators.
• Keep the station safe, clean, and free from unauthorised vehicles.
• Record incidents and support with anti-social behaviour when required.

What We''re Looking For

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to deal calmly with the public.
• Road safety awareness and knowledge of Health & Safety.
• Confidence to handle conflict situations in a professional manner.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and adapt to different situations.
• Access to your own vehicle for official journeys (mileage reimbursed).
