Bus Shunter

Premier Work Support are currently looking for temporary Shunter to work at busy site near the Edgware area with an immedate start.

Duties as a Shunter

• Park all buses as per parking plan to enable smooth deployment of all drivers coming in and out for breaks.
• Enusring that the buses are put on charge.
• Inspecting the buses as they come in.
• Report any issues/ damages you notice.
• Monitoring the run-in area from entrance to charging bay keeping the yellow box junction clear at all times
• Reporting defect buses and checking the unfit list provided by the engineers at beginning of shift.
• Attention to details, when moving the buses, putting and removing the EV chargers.
• There is No washing or cleaning of buses for this role

Job role requirements as a Shunter

• Category B or D (licence) to drive buses is e-essential as you won''t be driving on the roads.
• Must have steel toe cap boots and Hi Vi
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Must have experience for this role.

Salary: -13.85 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday
10:00 to 18:00

Full time 40 hours per week. Break 60 minutes unpaid.

Site Induction and training will be given.
