Bus Mechanic

Bus and Coach Mechanic (Nightshifts ) Location Aberdeen Scotland Shift Pattern: 22.00 to 6am -40 hour week 5 Nights per week We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician or Bus Mechanics to join a well-established engineering team based at the Aberdeen depot . This role involves maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of buses and coaches, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and fully operational. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and repair mechanical/electrical systems Prepare vehicles for annual MOT testing Attend roadside breakdowns and carry out effective repairs Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company safety standards Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Bus Mechanic / PSV Engineer NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) IRTEC accreditation (desirable) Experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence advantageous) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Benefits: Competitive hourly rate ( 23.00+ per hour) Company pension scheme Free or subsidised travel (including family travel benefits) Employee discount scheme Free on-site parking Ongoing training and career progression opportunities If you are a skilled Bus Mechanic or Coach mechanic looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent ..... full job details .....
