Bus Driver with Caring Duties

MPA Recruitment are currently recruiting a Band 3 Bus Driver with Caring Duties. The post holder will support the Trust in the delivery of a high quality service within the Transport Department As a Bus Driver with Caring Duties, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing a high level of care and support. With core skills in driving and a Category D Licence, you will navigate routes efficiently and ensure passenger safety at all times. Your premium skills in mechanical knowledge, commercial driving, and maintenance will be essential in maintaining the vehicle''s performance and safety standards. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of those you transport. Key Responsibilities Assist service users to and from Trust facilities, centres, clubs, and outings. Support individuals with mobility needs, including wheelchair users and those using walking aids, ensuring safe transfer and secure restraint during transport. Assist with activities and outings under the direction of the Facility Manager. Provide basic First Aid and respond appropriately in emergencies, including reporting incidents and arranging medical assistance when required. Assist with emergency evacuations when necessary. Transport and safely handle supplies, equipment, meals, laundry, pharmacy items, furniture, and other materials, obtaining signatures where required.
