The Bus Cleaner assignment will start Monday, 26th October and will be ongoing on a temporary basis. The successful Bus Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring buses are cleaned to the required standard and are ready for passengers and service. This is a hands-on role involving regular cleaning duties, working on your feet and working as part of a team. Key responsibilities • Thoroughly clean and sanitise the interior of buses • Clean seats, floors, windows, handrails, steps and passenger areas • Remove litter and empty waste bins • Clean exterior areas of buses where required • Ensure buses are cleaned and presented to the required standard • Check vehicles for lost property and follow the correct procedure when items are found • Work efficiently to ensure buses are cleaned within the required timescales • Follow relevant cleaning, health and safety procedures • Report any damage, defects or issues identified while cle...
