Builds Manager

Build Manager About the Role We are looking for an experienced Build Manager to oversee the construction element of our home improvement projects, predominantly conservatories, single-storey extensions and associated building works. This is a hands-on role covering site management, technical surveying, quality control, compliance and subcontractor management, ensuring projects are completed safely, correctly and to the required standard. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor construction works from commencement through to completion. Carry out site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, Health and Safety and compliance. Conduct additional inspections on complex, high-value and new-build-team projects. Ensure completed works meet required quality standards before installation progresses. Manage and support a network of subcontract build teams. Set and maintain clear workmanship, quality and performance standards. Address subcontractor performance, quality and compliance issues. Review surveys, drawings and proposed designs to identify potential issues before work begins. Provide practical construction solutions that meet customer, technical and regulatory requirements. Ensure works comply with Planning requirements, Planning conditions and Building Regulations. Liaise with Building Control and other relevant parties when required.
