Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for your next Local Authority opportunity?

We''re working with a Midlands-based council seeking a Building Surveyor to support the delivery of repairs, maintenance, and planned works across their property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities for building surveyor role:

• Carry out property inspections and condition surveys.
• Diagnose defects and prepare specifications of work.
• Oversee contractors and monitor project delivery.
• Produce technical reports and provide surveying advice.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.

Requirements for building surveyor role:

• Previous Building Surveying experience.
• Experience within Local Authority or Social Housing desirable.
• Strong knowledge of building repairs and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
