This role will support the delivery of a varied portfolio of building related projects across the authority, taking responsibility for design, specification and project delivery to agreed timescales, budgets and standards. Responsibilities include Producing designs, specifications and scopes of work for building refurbishments and minor works. Including extensions, roofing, windows, fencing, flooring and decoration Leading the delivery of medium-sized building projects, ensuring quality and programme are maintained Supporting condition-led capital schemes and wider planned programmes as required Managing risks, issues, project reporting and budget forecasting to keep stakeholders informed Working closely with multi-disciplinary design and construction colleagues and internal services across the council Providing technical advice and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders Attending and supporting meetings with clients and senior surveying colleagues About you...
