Building Surveyor

Building Surveyor | 4-6 month assignment | 35-40 per hour Umbrella.

We are working with a Local Authority who are looking to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor to join their Asset Management team.

The role will provide specialist building services and energy management expertise across a diverse property portfolio, overseeing maintenance, inspections, improvement works and supporting capital projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and inspecting building services installations and upgrades.
Supporting planned maintenance and improvement programmes.
Preparing specifications, budgets and works programmes.
Managing statutory inspection and compliance programmes.
Providing specialist technical advice on building services and energy management.
Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong building services knowledge, relevant technical qualifications and experience within property maintenance, surveying or facilities management.
