Building Surveyor - Repairs Temporary, Full Time £400.00 (umbrella) We are delighted to be supporting Harlow District Council to recruit a temporary Building Surveyor (Repairs) on a 6 12-month basis. Please note that this post requires the successful individual to be based on site 3-4 days per week. The role: We are looking for an experienced Repairs Building Surveyor to join our team. You will play a key role in diagnosing building defects, specifying repairs, and ensuring high-quality maintenance works across our property portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the safety, quality, and longevity of our homes. Conduct detailed inspections of properties to identify building defects and maintenance issues Diagnose root causes of disrepair and recommend appropriate solutions Prepare schedules of works, specifications, and cost estimates for repairs and maintenance projects Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies Oversee contractors and suppliers to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards Liaise with tenants, landlords, and internal teams to provide clear communication and updates on repair works Maintain accurate records of inspections, works, and costs, and prepare reports for management Skills and Experience Proven experience in building surveying, repairs, and maintenance within residential or commercial property sectors Strong knowledge of ..... full job details .....
