Building Surveyor - Legal Disrepair North West London Up to £56,000Goodman Masson is proud to be partnering with a housing association to recruit a Legal Disrepair Building Surveyor This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to play a key role in managing and resolving legal disrepair cases, providing technical expertise and ensuring the organisation meets its legal and regulatory responsibilities. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for investigating complex property condition issues, providing technical advice and overseeing remedial works to ensure homes are safe, compliant and maintained to the required standards. The role will involve working closely with legal teams, housing colleagues, contractors and residents to achieve timely and effective resolutions. You will undertake detailed property inspections, identify defects and determine appropriate remedial works, providing clear technical recommendations and specifications. You will also oversee the delivery of works, ensuring they are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. The Role Undertaking detailed inspections and surveys of properties subject to legal disrepair claims. Identifying defects, determining their causes and recommending appropriate remedial action. Preparing detailed reports, schedules of work, specifications and cost estimates.
