Building SurveyorSalary: £65,000 - £75,000+ DOEDepartment: Surveying ServicesReports to: Head of Surveying ServicesThe RoleWe''re looking for a Chartered Surveyor / Project Manager to work alongside Loss Adjusters on a range of commercial and complex material damage insurance claims. You''ll manage building repair projects end-to-end, ensuring quality delivery, cost control, and strong stakeholder communication throughout.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare Bills of Quantities and Schedules of Work, including contract preparationAssess CDM requirements and manage project budgets and costsProduce interim valuations and oversee contract milestonesPrepare and review tender documentation and negotiate with contractorsProvide updates to clients and stakeholders, including solicitorsSupport meetings and mentor junior colleaguesSkills and ExperienceStrong Building Surveying experience, ideally within loss adjustingProject management expertise including tendering and CDM knowledgeExperience with major building claims (e.g. fire, flood, subsidence) advantageousExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsIdeally possesses MRICS/ARICS/FRICSAbility to work independently and lead project teamsIf this is an opportunity of interest, please apply with an up to date CV.
