Manpower Engineering is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing property consultancy in the North East, who are looking to appoint an experienced Residential Surveyor / Valuer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an AssocRICS or MRICS qualified surveyor with experience in residential property surveying and valuation to join a specialist practice and work across a varied residential property portfolio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out residential property inspections, preparing professional reports and valuations, and providing clients with clear and practical advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out residential property inspections and surveys.
- Preparing detailed and professional residential survey reports.
- Undertaking residential property valuations.
- Identifying and reporting on property defects and condition issues.
- Providing clients with clear, professional advice on property condition and value.
- Producing accurate and well-presented reports in line with relevant RICS standards.
- Managing your own workload and appointments effectively.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other property professionals.
- Keeping up to date with relevant RICS guidance, regulations and industry standards.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- AssocRICS or MRICS accreditation.
- Previous experience in residential surveying and/or property valuation.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction, building defects and property condition.
- Experience producing professional residential survey and valuation reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and client-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to residential properties across the North East.
