Building Surveyor / Domestic Energy AssessorLocation: Salisbury / Dorset Hiring Office: Cardiff Payment: 85 per completed surveyAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking experienced Building Surveyors / Domestic Energy Assessors to support a residential property surveying programme across the Salisbury and Dorset areas. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out detailed property condition surveys, identifying defects, recording findings accurately and providing clear recommendations for remedial works. The role will involve visiting residential properties, including occupied buildings, and producing concise, accurate survey information to support wider asset management, capital planning and compliance requirements. This is a survey-based opportunity, with payment made at 85 per completed survey, rather than on an hourly basis.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out detailed condition surveys and inspections of residential properties.Assess the condition of building fabric, identifying defects and areas requiring remedial works.Record defects accurately using photographs, measurements and clear written descriptions.Provide practical recommendations for appropriate repair and remedial works.Complete Domestic Energy Assessments (EPCs) where required.Maintain accurate survey information and contribute to property asset registers.Ensure survey data is recorded consistently and to the required standard.Support the collection of information required for capital planning ..... full job details .....
