Building Surveyor

Location: Birmingham Salary: £35,000 £45,000 per annum, depending on experience Working Pattern: Hybrid working, 35 hours per week About the Role We are looking for a motivated and skilled Building Surveyor to join our expanding team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, including residential, education, leisure, healthcare and blue light services. You will be involved in projects of varying size and complexity, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality surveying and contract administration services. Working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams, you will help deliver successful projects from initial feasibility through to completion. Key Responsibilities: Act as Contract Administrator or Employer''s Agent across a diverse range of building projects, using relevant standard forms of construction contracts. Visit project sites, undertake inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports. Prepare and present initial appraisals and feasibility reports. Carry out measured surveys of existing buildings and sites. Develop and present outline design proposals, including budget cost estimates. Prepare and present complete scheme designs for client approval. Produce detailed working drawings and documentation suitable for construction. Submit applications for statutory approvals, including planning permission, listed building consent and building control approval. ..... full job details .....
