Interim Building Surveyor, Housing Association London, £350 - 400 p/day PAYE/Umbrella, 6-month contractYour new companyAre you an experienced Building Surveyor passionate about improving the quality, safety, and sustainability of residential homes? We''re looking for a proactive professional to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality planned and reactive works across a diverse housing portfolio.As a Building Surveyor, you''ll play a key role in ensuring customers can live safely and independently in well-maintained homes. You''ll work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and local authorities to deliver exceptional property services across a range of residential - and some commercial - properties.You''ll be responsible for conducting detailed surveys, writing technical reports, managing works programmes, and ensuring projects are completed to high standards, on time and within budget.Your new role Build strong working relationships with contractors and support the resolution of operational issues.Manage programmes of planned and reactive works, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to budget.Conduct full building surveys, prepare technical reports, and provide cost analysis and recommendations.Project manage complex works and disrepair cases, working collaboratively with legal and operational teams.Oversee responsive repairs and contribute to the improvement of long-term maintenance planning.Carry out post-inspections to ensure contractor work ..... full job details .....
