The team is committed to delivering high-quality services that directly benefit residents and the wider community.Your New RoleAs a Building Surveyor, you''ll be responsible for diagnosing and specifying day-to-day repairs, conducting stock condition and measured surveys, and managing contractors to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. You''ll work closely with the Senior Building Surveyor and use your expertise to advise on legislation, health and safety compliance, and cost control, while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with clients and residents.What You''ll Need to SucceedProven experience in housing maintenance within a Local AuthorityHRA experienceStrong knowledge of building construction, pathology, and legislationPractical surveying skills and familiarity with health and safety regulationsAbility to manage contractors and resolve disputesCommercial awareness and cost control capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and surveying softwareExcellent planning, organisation, and communication skillsFull valid Driving Licence with access to a carAn HNC in Construction would be preferredWhat ..... full job details .....
