Building Surveyor

We’re searching for a Building Surveyor with a strong technical grounding and a flair for project delivery. If you enjoy variety, responsibility and working closely with clients to deliver meaningful results, this is one not to miss.

You’ll play a key role in the project team, contributing to everything from scheme development to tender packages, funding applications, site inspections and contract administration. Expect a mix of design involvement, technical reporting, client liaison and hands-on project delivery.

• Develop project briefs, designs, specs and tender documents
• Support funding bids (SCA / CIF) with surveys, research and technical input
• Carry out site visits, H&S reporting, minutes and contract admin duties
• Assist with core building surveying tasks including condition surveys, defect analysis and RICS survey reporting
• Coordinate documentation to keep projects running smoothly
• Work collaboratively across technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

Essential:

• 2–3 years’ experience in a project surveying / project management role
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Ability to work proactively, manage deadlines and produce high-quality documentation
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (including MS Project)
• Full UK driving licence + DBS
• Highly organised, professional and confident working with clients, contractors and consultants

Desirable:

• Professional qualifications (RICS, CIOB, NEBOSH, IOSH, Fire, etc.)
• Experience supporting junior team members
• PRINCE2 / APM or similar project management credentials
• Previous client management exposure
