My client are seeking an experienced and highly competent Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team.
This is a client-facing role that requires a professional who can deliver high-quality services across a wide portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring specialist experience within the education, social housing, residential, and commercial property/asset management sectors, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and providing trusted advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage projects for Academy and Multi-Academy Trust clients, including delivery of capital works and estate management.
·Prepare and manage successful Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) bid writing and submissions.
·Manage projects for social housing clients, working within consultancy frameworks, and providing strategic advice on asset management and compliance.
·Deliver building surveying services for residential and commercial properties, with specific experience in Higher Risk Buildings (HRB).
·Undertake and report on FRAEW (Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls) and Type 4 FRA reports, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.
·Conduct condition, dilapidation, reinstatement cost assessments, and technical due diligence surveys.
·Oversee contract administration, tendering, procurement, and project delivery.
Requirements:
·Chartered status with MRICS (Building Surveying Pathway).
·Proven post-qualification experience, particularly within education, social housing, residential, and commercial property sectors.
·Demonstrable experience of Managing Academy and MAT clients/projects.
·Working within social housing consultancy frameworks.
·Managing residential and commercial property clients, including HRBs.
·Undertaking FRAEW and Type 4 FRA reports.
