Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Damp and Mould Surveyor to join our team in East Midlands. This role involves carrying out detailed property inspections to identify damp, mould, and condensation issues, diagnosing causes, and providing clear, practical remedial recommendations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable surveyor looking for flexible, well-paid work at -30 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough damp and mould inspections in residential and/or commercial properties

• Identify causes of damp including rising damp, penetrating damp, condensation, and ventilation issues

• Use specialist diagnostic equipment (moisture meters, thermal imaging, etc.)

• Produce clear, detailed survey reports with photographic evidence

• Provide remedial recommendations in line with current housing and health standards

• Liaise professionally with landlords, housing associations, property managers, and tenants

• Ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation and health & safety regulations
