Building Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a well-established claims management and loss adjusting business seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join its growing Surveying Services division. This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to take on a varied role combining property inspections, building damage assessments, cost estimates and the management of repair works across domestic and commercial properties. Working from home, you will travel to properties to investigate damage, prepare technical reports and provide expert surveying advice to support the insurance claims process. You will work closely with loss adjusters, claims handlers, policyholders and other stakeholders to ensure accurate assessments and effective claim resolutions. The Role As a Building Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out on-site surveys and inspections of domestic and commercial properties to assess damage and identify its cause. Evaluating the extent of building damage and preparing repair cost estimates and budget replacement costs. Producing detailed technical reports, including findings, recommendations and schedules of remedial works. Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation, alongside tender analysis and contract administration. Undertaking pre- and post-contract duties associated with property repair projects.
