Building Surveyor

Adur and Worthing Councils are seeking an Interim Building Surveyor to join their team on a 6-month initial contract. This role offers the chance to play a key part in clearing a backlog of works, including long-term void properties, standard voids, and essential capital works to resolve damp and mould cases. You''ll be responsible for: Surveying and specifying works on voids and damp and mould cases using the NHF Schedule of Rates. Overseeing delivery via contractors and DLO. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, CDM Regulations, and the Building Safety Act. Reporting on progress, budget, performance, and customer satisfaction. What we''re looking for: Building Surveying qualification (HNC/ HND, RICS, MRICS) Proven experience in property surveying, specification, and contractor management. Ability to hit the ground running in a busy local authority environment.
