Building Surveyor

A multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is looking for a Building Surveyor to join their Kent office, taking on a varied role across projects, professional work and client management.The Building Surveyor will join a close-knit team with plenty of autonomy, a strong existing client base and the chance to keep progressing under an MD who gives people room to think, contribute and develop.The Building Surveyor RoleThe successful Building Surveyor will manage a portfolio of mixed clients, including freeholders, developers, building managers, and public sector entities, across a range of building and property types.Key responsibilities of the Building Surveyor to include:Provide contract administration services and lead on various project stagesAssist with building safety initiatives and implement building pathology skills for diagnostics and to manage project delivery successfullyDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, while identifying opportunities for new businessWork across a broad portfolio of clients and property types to deliver successful project outcomesThe Ideal Building SurveyorMRICS qualification (preferred but not essential)RICS-accredited degree (ideally in Building Surveying but not essential with the right experience)Experience in a construction-focused practice, ideally with public sector project exposureAbility to maintain existing client relationships while seeking out new opportunitiesIn Return?Salary: £45,000 - £65,000Holiday: 28 days plus ..... full job details .....
