Building Surveyor

My client is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy team based in Milton Keynes. The role will primarily cover Central and North London, along with surrounding areas local to Milton Keynes.This is a busy and varied position offering exposure to a broad range of projects, with a strong focus on insurance-related work, particularly across residential buildings of all construction types. The role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor to demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership capability and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.The RoleThe successful Senior Building Surveyor will support the wider surveying team while managing their own projects and client instructions. Responsibilities will include:Inspecting and advising on the design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of a wide range of buildingsUndertaking acquisition surveys, condition reports, measured surveys and defect investigationsPreparing technical reports, schedules of works and detailed specificationsDesigning and overseeing works using recognised building contracts and current technical standardsIndependently delivering large-value projects across professional consultancy servicesApplying relevant legislation including health and safety, party wall matters, building regulations and planningPlaying an active role in promoting services and supporting business developmentSupervising and mentoring junior ..... full job details .....
