Building Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a growing team delivering surveys and inspections across residential, commercial, and public sector properties. The successful candidate will carry out building condition surveys, identify defects, assess compliance and safety risks, and provide clear technical recommendations.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor with experience in housing, rail, or public sector environments.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct fabric condition surveys and inspections of buildings and assetsIdentify defects including damp, mould, cracking, water ingress, and structural issuesCarry out HHSRS, fire safety, and compliance inspectionsProduce accurate technical reports and remedial recommendationsAssess maintenance and lifecycle requirements of building elementsWork closely with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholdersEnsure work is completed in line with health and safety and compliance standardsManage survey schedules and workloads effectivelyRequirementsPrevious experience as a Building SurveyorKnowledge of building defects, fabric inspections, and compliance standardsExperience carrying out condition surveys and producing technical reportsUnderstanding of HHSRS, fire safety, and health and safety regulationsStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple inspectionsIf you have the relevant skills then please apply ..... full job details .....
