Building Surveyor

Ref: 000B 658C / 1 Location: Rotherham (S60) Hybrid with 3 days on site Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Pay: £450 per day paid weekly via umbrella Duration: Ongoing Contract Long Term To provide professional building surveying expertise across a range of capital and refurbishment projects, delivering surveying, design, contract administration and project management services from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities Deliver building surveying services across alteration, refurbishment and construction projects. Undertake project management duties on construction and property-related schemes. Prepare and review designs, specifications and technical documentation. Administer construction contracts and manage contractor performance. Provide professional advice on building construction, maintenance and property-related matters. Support procurement and tendering activities where required. Monitor project costs, programmes and risks. Ensure projects comply with statutory, regulatory and health and safety requirements. Undertake Principal Designer responsibilities where suitably qualified and appointed. Liaise with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders throughout project delivery. Person Specification Essential Experience Experience as a Building Surveyor within construction, property or asset management environments.
