Our client is hiring a Building Surveying Manager who can bring clarity, pace and professional leadership to high-value repairs and major capital improvement programmes across the housing stock. What you''ll be doing: Lead and manage a team of Chartered surveying professionals and technical officers, including allocation, programming, monitoring, appraisal and progression of work Ensure quality and safety standards are met, including compliance with specification and key regulations (health and safety, environment, building regs and more) Manage and deliver complex, high-value projects-selecting teams, coordinating activity, and keeping senior leaders updated on progress and issues Lead responsive repairs, major capital improvements and planned maintenance programmes by coordinating stakeholders and targets Oversee feasibility studies, estimates, and the preparation of drawings (CAD), specifications and contract documentation-including adaptation, repair, maintenance, demolition and asbestos removal works Drive service improvement: investigate best working practices, introduce new policies/procedures, lead service improvement panels, and apply lessons learned Take responsibility for significant procurement projects, ..... full job details .....
