In this role, you''ll deliver training, coaching, and assessments to apprentices in Engineering and Building Services disciplines, such as plumbing, heating, machining, inspection, and technical support. You''ll create engaging learning plans, mentor learners through their apprenticeship journey, and prepare them for their End Point Assessment, while working closely with employers to keep skills and knowledge industry-relevant.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the engineering or building services industry, hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline, and either possess (or be willing to achieve) a teaching qualification and the TAQA Assessor Award. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, alongside a passion for helping apprentices achieve their goals.

The role
Full training provided, including teaching and assessor qualifications
Managing a caseload of apprentices across engineering and building services
Delivering practical and theory-based training both at college and in the workplace
Preparing learners for End Point Assessment with regular reviews and feedback
Building strong links with employers to ensure quality learning experiences

The person
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering or Building Services (plumbing, heating, machining, inspection, technical support, maintenance)
Relevant industry experience in engineering or building services
Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within one year)
Strong communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
