Building Services Manager

Salter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier-1 Main Contractor for an immediate requirement for an experienced Building Services Manager to support a major secure-sector project in the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BSM to take full ownership of MEP delivery on a complex, highly regulated live operational environment, working closely with the project team, specialist subcontractors and key stakeholders. The role will be 100% dedicated to the project, with an approximate split of 50% site-based and 50% office-based in Liverpool. Building Services Manager Responsibilities: Lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health activities across the project. Coordinate and manage specialist MEP subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements. Oversee installation, quality, technical compliance, commissioning and handover activities. Manage technical queries, design coordination and changes throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with the Project Manager, commercial team, consultants and client representatives to resolve technical and programme issues. Ensure all MEP works comply with relevant specifications, regulations, health and safety requirements and project standards. Provide regular progress updates and maintain strong project documentation and reporting.
