Building Services Manager - ReadingLocation: Reading Salary: Competitive + Package Job Type: Permanent Sector: Construction / Building ServicesWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Services Manager (BSM) to join a leading construction contractor, working across projects in the Reading and Oxford areas.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Services professional looking to join an established contractor with a strong project portfolio and a variety of technically challenging schemes.The RoleAs Building Services Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful coordination and delivery of MandE / building services packages throughout the project lifecycle.Key responsibilities will include:Managing the building services delivery from pre-construction through to completion.Coordinating MandE design, procurement, installation and commissioning.Working closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, Quantity Surveyors and subcontractors.Managing specialist MandE subcontractors and supply chain partners.Reviewing designs, specifications and technical submissions.Ensuring building services works are delivered to programme, budget and required quality standards.Identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the project.Attending design and coordination meetings and driving actions through to completion.Monitoring progress and reporting on programme, cost, quality and risk.Supporting the commercial team with variations, valuations ..... full job details .....
