Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) 39,105 - 45,163 per annum with excellent benefits package (including 27 days annual leave + 6 closures days + Bank Holidays) - 37 hours per week The University of Leicester is seeking to make the appointment to the role of Building Services Engineer (Mechanical). The estate extends to a total site area of 95 hectares, comprising a non-residential estate of 110 buildings covering around 200,000m2 and a residential estate of 191 properties. The majority of the academic facilities are located to the south of Leicester city centre with a main campus supplemented by a number of satellite properties nearby. The Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) within Estates and Digital Services will specify, source and maintain mechanical assets including but not limited to mechanical systems. Reporting into the Senior Building Services Engineer (Mechanical), the Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) will proactively manage, maintain and repair those assets through a planned maintenance programme, ensuring that all assets are delivered to a defined quality in a safe and cost-effective manner in support of University requirements and statutory compliance.
