Building Safety Team Leader

A Building Safety Team Leader is required to join our clients growing team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will bring a good understanding of Building and Fire Safety strategies and lead a highly motivated team to carry out work which is essential for the health and safety of their customers. Ideally, you will have a health and safety qualification as well as a Fire Door Inspective qualification with an understanding of risk and compliance management. This is a hybrid role; you will mainly be based from home however will be required to carry out monthly visits to high-risk buildings which are mainly in the London area. You may also be required to travel throughout the following operating regions as required: Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. Key responsibilities: Ensure an onsite presence is provided in Higher Risk Buildings, allocating responsibility as required. Ensure fire safety measures and controls are operating effectively on a daily basis. Support the Building Safety Manager with providing assurance to the business on health and safety matters. Providing robust management information and assurance where needed. Liaise closely with the Servicing Compliance Team to ensure daily, weekly, monthly and yearly monitoring checks are being undertaken and provide regular audit reports.
