You''ll be based from our Wembley location The Hive combining site visits within the South West region and home working to ensure a positive work/life balance. What you''ll be doingThe Building Safety Officer will work collaboratively with peers, supporting the Building Safety Managers, to provide a consistent approach to building safety management of applicable buildings to ensure SNG are fulfilling all landlord obligations.Responsibilities include:Ensuring that SNG are adhering to all building safety requirements for our high-risk properties.Assessing building safety risks, taking all reasonable steps to prevent the occurrence of a major incident in the building because of these risks.Ensuring that buildings are compliant with all building safety compliance regulation / legislations.Maintaining effective relationships both internally and externally with customers and third parties.Organising proactive engagement events, fostering a trustworthy relationship with our customers, involving key stakeholders and taking appropriate follow-up action where required.Developing building safety cases and ensure they remain up to date.
