Building Safety Manager

Building Safety Manager Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £62,465 per annum plus opportunity to earn up to 5% performance related bonus Location: Hale Village, London, N17 Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London. As Building Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all fire and building safety duties in our high rise and/or higher risk residential buildings are effectively and robustly carried out. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will develop plans for the delivery of fire safety work and services in high risk buildings and ensure these buildings are managed and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the Building Safety Act. You will also be responsible for the development of a comprehensive digital records system which is used as the basis for safety cases and demonstrating building compliance and that the golden thread principle is applied and BIM adopted as far as possible. With a relevant degree or substantial experience in a similar role, you will be a member of a professional body such as IOSH, RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE or IFSM and have a Health and Safety and/or Fire qualification.
