Building Safety Manager needed around south west Paying £60,000 ref Full time hours on a permanent basisKey RequirementsConfident leadership style with strong technical credibility and the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate across a complex organisationDegree-level education (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical disciplineLevel 4 (or above) qualification in fire safety management or asset compliance (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, Advanced Fire Safety Diploma, or equivalent)Strong technical knowledge of:Building design and constructionFire strategies, life safety, and human behaviourCompartmentation and building fabricBuilding systems and their interactionDemonstrable experience in a building safety role, working with multiple stakeholdersExtensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory building safety requirements, particularly for HRBsProven experience analysing complex risk scenarios and developing practical, proportionate solutionsStrong understanding of health and safety legislation within the built environmentExperience using digital systems to monitor, evidence, and report compliance and performanceMembership of, or certification by, a relevant professional body or equivalent specialist trainingIf you are interested in the role, please email your CV to quoting the reference number.
