Building Safety Manager
As a Building Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of London''s residents by identifying and addressing potential fire safety hazards in high and medium-rise residential buildings. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a risk-based inspection programme, reviewing data on external wall systems, and engaging with building proprietors to identify and address cladding and fire safety deficiencies.Required Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate fire safety risksExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with building proprietors, stakeholders, and internal teamsAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesFamiliarity with building safety regulations, codes, and standardsProficiency in data analysis and reportingNice to Have Skills: Experience with risk assessment and mitigation techniquesKnowledge of building safety regulations, codes, and standardsFamiliarity with data management systems and softwareExperience with stakeholder engagement and communicationPreferred Education and Experience:Degree in a relevant field such as Building Services Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related disciplineMinimum 3 years of experience in building safety, fire safety, or a related fieldExperience working in a regulatory or enforcement roleOther Requirements:Certifications in fire ..... full job details .....
