Building Pathology Surveyor Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance Midlands and surrounding areas (M62 corridor) Office Based (1-2 days out on site) Permanent We are currently partnering with a specialist consultancy within the Building Pathology sector to recruit a Senior Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in building surveying, structural investigations, or defect analysis to take ownership of projects and work closely with clients across a diverse portfolio. This is a varied position combining technical investigations, project management, and client-facing responsibilities. You will manage projects from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring a high standard of delivery. We are ideally seeking someone based in the Midlands and surrounding areas but can be flexible on this for some areas. Key Responsibilities: Condition surveys (intrusive and non-destructive) Lead and deliver building pathology projects Concrete assessments (composition, deterioration, corrosion) Water ingress investigations and remediation planning Non-destructive testing (GPR, ultrasonic pulse echo, etc.) Building investigations for repurposing and design input Coordinating laboratory testing and interpreting results Produce and review clear, high-quality technical reports Manage projects to meet safety, quality, and budget goals Build strong client relationships and deliver practical solutions Plan resources, allocate tasks, and monitor ..... full job details .....
