Job Title Building Manager Location Birmingham Salary £36,000 per year Shift Pattern Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 17:30pm Role Overview We are seeking an organized, proactive Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and resident experience across our property portfolio. The Building Manager will be responsible for ensuring the building is safe, well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and that residents receive a high level of service. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day building operations, including daily inspections, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and overseeing cleaning and janitorial services. Respond promptly to resident inquiries, service requests, and complaints; maintain positive resident relations and ensure high standards of customer service. Coordinate and supervise contractors, tradespeople, and on-site staff; schedule and monitor work quality and completion. Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety, and building regulations; maintain accurate records of inspections, certificates, and risk assessments. Oversee asset and inventory management for building systems and supplies. Monitor utilities and building systems (e.g., HVAC, lifts, plumbing, electrical) and arrange preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
