Building Manager (FM)

Building Manager We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Building Manager to join a leading managing agent overseeing the delivery of all hard and soft services at a prestigious commercial property in Manchester. This is a site based role requiring a presence 5 days / week. The Role You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional building performance, outstanding occupier experience, statutory compliance, contractor management, and service excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive facilities professional who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys managing high-profile commercial assets. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operation of all hard and soft FM services across the building. Monitor contractor performance through KPI-driven performance management processes. Lead service charge budget preparation and ongoing budget management. Raise and manage work orders, purchase orders, and service contracts. Conduct regular property inspections and produce comprehensive management reports. Build strong relationships with occupiers through regular meetings and engagement initiatives. Develop and implement business continuity and emergency evacuation plans. Ensure all landlord and tenant works are completed safely and in accordance with statutory requirements. Drive compliance through the management of health, safety, and regulatory documentation.
