Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team, responsible for maintaining student accommodation in the heart of Cambridge. Responsibilities: Conducting high-quality repair and maintenance work, including plumbing, joinery, electrical tasks, and painting. Handling reactive maintenance jobs promptly and to a high standard. Providing outstanding customer service and liaising effectively with colleagues and management. Monitoring onsite contractors to ensure quality completion of work. Managing both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks. Performing scheduled health and safety checks, including fire safety inspections and water hygiene monitoring. Conducting regular building patrols to identify maintenance needs and health risks. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation. Key Requirements: A comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety legislation. Relevant qualifications in plumbing, joinery, or electrical systems are preferred. Previous experience in domestic electrical/plumbing/general maintenance. Ability to effectively prioritise workloads. Benefits: ..... full job details .....
