Building Maintenance Operative (Plastering Bias)

From £16.00 Per Hour depending upon experience
Temporary - Approx. 8 weeks (July - August)

We''re currently recruiting for a hands-on Specialist Building Maintenance Operative to support a busy site team over the summer period.  The role will be predominantly be based at Halifax, however occasional travel through West Yorkshire may also be required.  This is required for 8 weeks over July and August

• Carry out plastering works, including patching, repairs, and making good
• Support general building fabric maintenance across the site
• Undertake a range of multi-skilled repairs (minor joinery, painting, basic maintenance)
• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Work closely with the site team to ensure the buildings are safe, presentable, and fully operational
• Occasionally travel to nearby sites as required

• Proven experience in General Building Works and Plastering (essential)
• Background in building maintenance, property maintenance, or FM environments
• Ability to turn your hand to multi-trade tasks where needed
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
