Building Fabric Estimator / Small Works Estimator Commercial Environments Surrey with Travel across SE England Projects 1K - 100K values. We are currently recruiting for a Building Fabric Estimator / Small Works Estimator to join a large, highly successful building and maintenance service provider based in Surrey. As the Building Fabric / Small Works Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing small works projects between values of 1,000 - 100,000 values, with a large majority being minor works. Your role will be a 50/50 split (self managed) between the head office in Surrey and travelling to client sites to carry out full surveys and inspections. You will be visiting Pubs, Retail Stores, Restaurants, Gyms, Coffee Shops, Nurseries and other similar commercial use environments, recommending a wide range of works such as; Flooring installations / replacement, re-grouting etc. Installations of fire doors and fire safety assessments. Painting and decorating Tiling installation / replacement Carpentry and woodwork projects Plumbing works - installing/replacing toilets, urinals, sinks, basins etc. Full and minor Refurbishments. Roofing / ceiling emergency repairs. Minor brickwork repairs. Glass installations. Typical projects are based on number of engineers needed, number of hours/days needed, multiplied by labour day rate + material cost + mark-up.
