The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing building plans, carrying out site inspections and ensuring construction work complies with the Building Regulations and associated legislation. The Role You will be responsible for: Examining deposited building plans to ensure proposed works comply with relevant Building Regulations and legislation. Carrying out regular site inspections to assess construction work and identify any non-compliance. Dealing with dangerous structures and demolition sites , including inspections, reporting and appropriate action. Undertaking enforcement procedures where building work does not meet legal requirements. Providing advice and guidance to architects, engineers, contractors, building owners and members of the public .
