You''ll be responsible for assessing building regulation applications, carrying out site inspections, and providing technical guidance to homeowners, developers and contractors.As part of a supportive team, you''ll contribute to a high-quality, citizen-focused Building Control service, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and upholding the highest professional and safety standards.Key Responsibilities Assess Building Regulation applications including full plans, building notices, and regularisation applications. Carry out site inspections at various construction stages to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and allied legislation. Provide technical advice to applicants, agents, builders and the public on design compliance, procedures, and best practice. Maintain accurate electronic records of site visits, decisions and correspondence. Identify and report unauthorised works, assisting with investigations and enforcement actions.
