Building and Service Supervisor

An experienced Building and Service Supervisor is required to oversee engineering delivery across a multi-site banking environment in Northamptonshire.

You''ll supervise day and shift engineering teams, overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and building fabric services. This role combines critical engineering, team leadership, technical compliance and a strong focus on maintaining maximum uptime.

The Role
 
As the Building and Service Supervisor, you''ll:

• Supervise PPM, reactive maintenance, additional works and emergency response activities.
• Lead day and shift engineers across mechanical, electrical and building fabric services.
• Maintain quality assurance procedures and accurate electrical maintenance records.
• Organise engineering shift patterns and duty rosters across the operation.
• Support improvements to SOPs, EOPs and technical maintenance solutions.
• Ensure client standards, governance and Safe Systems of Work are maintained.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and engineering stakeholders.
• Champion health and safety while supporting maximum operational uptime.

About You
 
To be successful as the Building and Service Supervisor, you''ll have:

• A relevant engineering qualification with strong technical knowledge.
• At least 10 years'' engineering experience, including five years in critical environments.
• Previous experience supervising engineering teams within FM, banking or property environments.
• Experience working across a multi-site operation, ideally within a banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
• NEBOSH or IOSH health and safety certification.
• A proactive approach with strong communication and team leadership skills.

An HVAP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
