Build Shop Operative - Temp to Perm Location: NR15Pay Rate: From £13.00 per hourJob Type: Temporary to Permanent Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Panel Installer to join a growing team based in the NR15 area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is looking for a role that could lead to a permanent position. No previous experience in vehicle conversions is essential, as full training will be provided. However, candidates should be confident using hand tools and portable power tools and have a practical, can-do approach to their work. The Role Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping and installing foam insulation panels into vans, ensuring each conversion is completed accurately and to the required specification. You will work from cutting lists and job specifications to determine the correct size and shape of each panel. This will involve measuring, marking and cutting foam sheets, as well as creating rebates, slots, grooves and other required sections to ensure the individual pieces fit together correctly to form a complete panel conversion. Once prepared, the panels will be securely installed within the vehicle using appropriate fixing methods. Key Duties and Responsibilities Preparing vans for panel installation, including stripping out existing fittings and preparing the working area.
